EHS MONO Air-to-Water Heat Pump

A Powerful All-In-One Solution

The Samsung Eco Heating System (EHS) is a low-carbon air to water (A2WHP) heating system that uses outdoor air as its primary energy source. Instead of burning fuel to create heat, it absorbs heat from the air and upgrade it to a higher temperature for use in the home. The EHS can provide heating, domestic hot water and chilled water for space cooling, offering a year-round comfort solution. AWHP systems are designed to replace or work alongside a traditional furnace or boiler.

Even when it is cold outside, there is still plenty of usable heat energy in the air. EHS captures this free energy and delivers several units of heat for every unit of electricity it uses. This makes it highly efficient and can help to reduce energy costs, especially in well-insulated homes

How the EHS Mono System Works

  1. Step

Absorbing heat from the outside air

Absorbing heat from the outside air A fan draws outdoor air across a heat exchanger filled with refrigerant. The refrigerant is a special fluid that can boil, just like water, but at very low temperatures. As it absorbs heat, it evaporates into a vapor while still within the system.

  2. Step

Increasing the heat to a useful temperature

Increasing the heat to a useful temperature The vapor then enters the compressor, where it is compressed. This increases its temperature, its pressure and its energy level, generating heat energy that can now be used effectively for heating and producing domestic hot water.

  3. Step

    Releasing heat into your home

The now-hot, high-energy refrigerant passes through another heat exchanger where it transfers its heat to the water in the heating system, which is piped from the outdoor A2WHP into the home. As it releases heat, the refrigerant cools and condenses back into a liquid.

  4. Step

    Starting the cycle again

The cooled refrigerant returns to the first heat exchanger (evaporator) to collect more heat, and the cycle continues.

Hydro Unit

Compact & Flexible Installation

Hydro Unit

The Hydro Unit is a compact indoor option for projects where a separate domestic hot water tank is preferred or already installed. It connects to the same outdoor unit as the climate hub mono, offering flexibility across a wide range of residential applications.

Hydro Unit Main Features

  • Compact and Adaptable Design

Without an integrated water tank, the Hydro Unit has a smaller footprint, making it well suited to homes with limited indoor space or installations where a separate domestic hot water tank is used.

  • Installer-focused Installation

Pre-assembled hydronic components and straightforward connections reduce installation time compared with traditional multi-component systems. The Hydro Unit integrates smoothly into standard hydronic layouts, allowing installers to work efficiently and with confidence.

  • System Flexibility

The Hydro Unit integrates easily into standard hydronic heating layouts, making it well suited to both retrofit and new-build projects. This allows installers to design systems that align with existing pipework, emitter types and household heating demands.

ClimateHub

All-In-One Indoor Heat Pump

ClimateHub

The ClimateHub is an all-in-one indoor heat pump solution designed for US homes where space, efficiency and simplicity are essential. It connects directly to the outdoor unit and integrates domestic hot water storage within a single cabinet, reducing system complexity while delivering reliable heating and hot water.

ClimateHub Main Features

  • Ideal Design for Limited Spaces

By combining the hydro components and domestic hot water tank into one slim, vertical unit, the climate hub mono is well suited to utility rooms, garages and  closets.

  • Effective Energy Management

Integrated controls manage space heating and domestic hot water together, optimizing performance based on real household demand. This coordinated operation delivers consistent comfort, dependable hot water availability and efficient energy use throughout the year.

  • Built-in Domestic Hot WaterTank

The slim cabinet houses the domestic hot water tank internally, eliminating the need for a separate storage vessel. By integrating hot water storage within the unit, the system reduces space requirements, simplifies pipework and delivers a clean, compact indoor installation suitable for a wide range of homes.
