Gone with the wind.

Meet Samsung's exclusive WindFree™* Mini 4-Way Cassette. The coolest technology you'll never feel. The WindFree™* Mini 4-Way Cassette keeps you comfortable without a breeze

Samsung's WindFree™* cooling technology provides users with a cool indoor climate without the discomfort of direct cold airflow. It’s an advantage no other system can match.

      ELIMINATES COLD DRAFTS

WindFree™* Cooling technology maintains the desired temperature and eliminates cold drafts by delivering air through micro holes on the unit's fascia panel when the louvers are closed, producing a dispersed and gentle flow of air defined as "still air." The WindFree™* fascia panel includes a humidity sensor to prevent condensation by restricting WindFree™* operation in high humidity conditions. WindFree™* operation is available in cooling mode only.

    • MAXIMIZE ENERGY SAVINGS

      MAXIMIZE ENERGY SAVINGS

A Motion Detection Sensor (MDS) will automatically turn off or change the set temperature based on room occupancy, and learn occupancy patterns to reduce run time between occupied and unoccupied times. Use of MDS is optional (sensor sold separately).

    • INDIVIDUAL BLADE CONTROL

      INDIVIDUAL BLADE CONTROL

With independent louver control, the four louver blades can be individually set at the same or different angles within a 32-65° range.

    • COMPACT SIZE

      COMPACT SIZE

The WindFree™* Mini 4-Way Cassette fascia panel is designed to fit in a standard 2x2 ft. ceiling grid without interfering with adjacent ceiling tiles, lights, or sprinkler systems.

      ADVANCED COMMISSIONING AND SERVICE

The WindFree™* Mini 4-Way Cassette is equipped with a removable EEPROM chip on the main circuit board to store unit option settings, serial number, unit tag, and other field programmed data. This allows for ease of startup, commissioning, product registration, and future service work when using Samsung service software (S-Net Pro2).

    • EASY ACCESS

All internal components and field wiring connections are accessible from the bottom of the units.

    • QUIET AIR DISTRIBUTION

      QUIET AIR DISTRIBUTION

The aerodynamically designed turbo fan minimizes blade movement noise.  Plus, the turbo fan's wide blades provide evenly distributed cooling and  heating from four separate outlets so the entire room cools down or warms up faster.

The AHRI Certified® mark indicates Samsung's participation in the AHRI Certification program. For verification of individual certified products, go to www.ahridirectory.org.

Select models are ENERGY STAR® labeled. Proper sizing and installation of equipment is critical to achieve performance.  Split system air conditioners and heat pumps (excluding ductless systems) must be matched with appropriate coil components to meet ENERGY STAR® criteria.  Ask your contractor for details or visit www.energystar.gov.

Available for download on the Google™ Play store and App Store®. A network connection is required. Samsung application account is necessary.  An accessory Wi-Fi Adapter is required (purchased separately).

*The WindFree™ unit delivers an air current that is under 0.15 m/s while in WindFree™ mode.  Air velocity that is below 0.15 m/s is considered “still air” as defined by ASHRAE 55-2013 (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers).
